Specially Curated Central Florida Photoshoot Locations From a Local Photographer and FL Native:)


When planning a photoshoot there are two absolute make or break elements that can RUIN your shoot if you aren't careful no matter how talented or skilled your photographer is. Locations and outfits are HUGE when it comes to the final outcome of your images - so listen to your photographer’s professional opinion and be careful! In this post, I'm going to go over locations. Don't worry, we'll dive into outfits soon:)

#1: My All-Time Local Lake Wales Favorite: Bok Tower Gardens

My all time favorite central Florida location is Bok Tower Gardens which is sometimes viewed as “cheesy” or “basic,” but with hundreds of acres, the world famous garden is far from it. No two shoots are the same unless you want them to be! As a LW native and grad, Bok Tower holds a very special place in my heart.

#2: An Orlando Gal and UCF Knight's Favorite Spot for Grads and Couples!


Next, UCF campus is a close second! As a UCF Alumknight (GKCO) you already knew this would be at the top of the list. With so much culture and versatility, you cannot go wrong with a shoot at the largest campus in FL!

#3: A Lakeland and City-Lovers Dream!


Next we move back to Polk County. I absolutely love photographing cityscapes and modern runaway brides! Downtown Lakeland is rich with culture and beautiful architecture which is perfect for this vibe! Bonus: they have the cutest parking garages:)

#4: Beautiful Architecture meet Breathtaking Nature


Next, we’re moving to one of the most versatile spots on the list! Bonnet Springs Park is a hidden gem that is FREE to enter. From breathtaking architecture to beautiful nature you can’t go wrong booking a shoot here. Bonus: they have a tram that takes you across the hundred acre park.

#5: A Winter Park Favorite: THE Hannibal Square


Lastly, I adore Hannibal Square. Just a hop, skip, and drive from UCF campus in the heart of the beautiful and bustling city of Winter Park, I absolutely adore this spot! It reminds me of my time in college when we’d always go drive by the million dollar homes in Winter Park because lets face it, we were too broke to do anything else in the area.

I Promised a Bonus Location: Apollo Beach Nature Preserve


This one isn't exactly in central Florida, but it is close! Apollo Beach Nature Preserve is such a versatile beachy location. With cute fields, gorgeous greens, and beautiful rocks, you can't go wrong!
