Finding the Perfect Spot for your Proposal


Proposing to your significant other is one of the most special days of your life and relationship and the location you choose should reflect that. When deciding on the perfect spot to start the next chapter of your love story, you should ask yourself a few questions like: What locations are sentimental to us? What are some things or places she likes? Who would I like there? Would a private or public location be better? ALL of these are very important things to consider for such a special occasion. Below I will dive into my all-time favorite proposal spots!

Bok Tower Gardens


When it comes to romantic locations in Central Florida, Bok Tower Gardens in Lake Wales takes the cake. With botanical gardens that span over 250 acres, there are plenty of beautiful spots to pop the question. One of my personal favorite spots aside from the Tower itself is the famous El Retiro. You definitely can't go wrong when choosing Bok Tower Gardens for your proposal, engagement photos, or even your wedding!

Lake Eola Park


Speaking of romantic and timeless, Lake Eola Park offers a beautiful landscape and ambience to start off your next chapter as an engaged couple. With numerous real swans and miles of beautiful nature, you can't go wrong with a proposal at Lake Eola Park. One of my favorite proposals I have captured is one I planned and set up myself at this location. A simple yet stunning display is certainly the way to go so your love does all of the talking!

Bonnet Springs Park


Looking for a lovely landscape to pop the question in front of? Bonnet Springs Park is an excellent option in the Lakeland, FL area. With lovely waterfalls, a beautiful dock, and several stunning boardwalks, Bonnet Springs Park boasts a perfect proposal or engagement session location.

Cypress Estate House


A public park that doubles as a wedding venue for obvious reasons! Cypress Estate House in Orlando is a dreamy location with the perfect lighting and ambience for your special day. With several options and sweet spots, Cypress Estate House is a romantic and thoughtful option to propose to your girlfriend.

Hannibal Square


A sweet and timeless option is often the best way to go. Hannibal Square offers versatility while remaining gorgeous, modern, and more upscale. If you're more of a city person at heart, this is an excellent go-to!

Babson Park Nature Trail


If fieldy spots catch your eye and hold a special place in your spot, this is the perfect date! Offering many beautiful backdrops, this is an excellent option for outdoor and nature lovers. If you want something a bit more private and secluded, I absolutely recommend this spot!

Jaycee Park Vero Beach


If salt air and sunshine are the apple of your eye, Jaycee Park is a gorgeous option. With beautiful sunrise and sunset views, Vero Beach offers several beautiful spots to ask that special question at.

Vasco Sixty-One (Nineteen61 Rooftop)


Sometimes the best locations are unexpected! When I got the call to photograph this proposal that Be Bella by Sam set up, I knew I had to say yes. This was such an intimate and romantic morning. Lakeland offers so many excellent spots to pop the question, and this just happens to be one of my favorites!
